Measurement Protocol

To ensure the best results and speed up your ordering process, we've developed a streamlined measurement protocol for your boat’s upholstery.

You can read it here or you can just watch the video we have prepared at the bottom of this page.

However, the easiest, safest, and most reliable way to replace your boat's upholstery is to send us your old covers. We can then produce new ones for you incredibly quickly!

To make things even simpler, we’ll cover the shipping costs within Croatia and Turkey.

We understand that sending in all your boat's upholstery might not always be possible. That’s why we’ve adopted this measurement protocol—so you can still get the perfect fit even when sending the entire upholstery isn’t an option.

Give us a blueprint (if you have one) or the brand, year of production and the model of your boat.

While our database includes blueprints for a significant number of boats, it's always advisable to take precautions, particularly if there have been any modifications to your boat's interior. However, if you're unsure about any modifications, we recommend manually measuring your upholstery for the best results.

Prepare a FULL-SIZE paper pattern.

To be extra careful, especially with rounded pillows, just tell us how thick they are and provide the biggest length and width. Then, make a full-size pattern using newspaper or butcher paper.

Tape multiple sheets for larger patterns.

At Soledad Marine Textile®, we take the hassle out of measuring your boat’s upholstery. With your permission, any measurements and data you provide will be securely stored in our database.

Our extensive database is organized by vessel brands and sizes, meaning we might already have your boat's measurements on file! If that’s the case, you won’t need to measure your upholstery again. Once recorded, your boat's dimensions are saved, allowing us to effortlessly produce new textiles tailored to your needs.
