Currently, on the market you can find some really fine designer items marketed as marine and these fabrics may look outstanding, but if they do not have adequate UV protection, they will quickly fade under the influence of the Sun. You will not be able to enjoy these more that one season.

During our testing stages we have realized that the safest bet is to use the top quality Madeira thread for our marine textile embroidery.

We use a Madeira fiber, favored for its resistance to sunlight, abrasion, and many chemicals, along with its strength, ease of washing and drying, and cost-effectiveness.
