In 2025, when we set off on what would become the already-famous #SoledadChallenge, we packed light — because the sea doesn’t care how many “essentials” you think you need.
But one thing we didn’t even consider leaving behind?
Our Soledad Zadar towels.

They ended up doing everything except steering the boat.
Drying us, shading us, cushioning us, doubling as picnic mats, backup blankets, emergency turbans, deck protectors, and once… a diplomatic peace flag between two very tired crew members.

They faced sun, salt, wind, rain, long crossings, short nerves — and they never once gave up.
Not even a thread out of place.

And that’s exactly why they carry the name Zadar.

We didn’t choose the name because it sounded Mediterranean

We chose it because Zadar symbolizes resilience:

During the Soledad Challenge, the towels proved this again and again.
What started as “grab a few towels” became
“okay, these are basically crew members now.”

And when we finally came back to shore — sun-kissed, sleep-deprived, and full of stories — it hit us:
